Sauvignon Blanc  - Musque varietal
Grown on the Mangels' Ranch in the mid Suisun Valley area
grafted over from a Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in 2005 - quadralateral system

Winemaker - Abe Schoener with Steve Tenbrink as trainee

We went for pepper and spice and everything nice to come up with a wine as far away from a "grapefruit cocktail" - attained perhaps thru a site specific peppery flavor.
Cold fermented (55 degrees) for one month and regularly stirred.
100% whole cluster press.
Aaged in semi neutral F.O. barrels
A 50 case project.

Winemaker - Steve Tenbrink with Abe Schoener as consultant

Thinking that perhaps we went a little too far with the previous years vintage for most customers taste preferences, we scaled back a bit but held onto the spicy and left more fruit to temper the flame.
This vintage was picked very, very ripe.
100% whole cluster press.
Aged in semi neutral F.O. barrels
A 50 case project.
